eBay Resource Review

I have read almost every book and package written about eBay. I find this to be a great way to improve my skills.

Unfortunately, a lot of what I read is garbage. Some are pretty good, and a few are truly exceptional. In order to help you decide what is worth your time and money I am putting the reviews here on IWantCollectibles.com.

If there is not a review here, it doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad book. I might not have gotten around to writing a review, or even heard of the book yet. If you are interested in a review of an eBay related product not covered here send me an email.

The items I look at when I write the reviews are:

• Currentness - Is the book current?
• Unique Content - Is the book just a rehashing of other material, or does it explain new ideas.
• Accessibility - Is the book easy to read. Does the writer explain things well?
• Acceptable Techniques - Does the work teach unethical techniques or skirt eBay rules?
• Cost - Does the book deliver value for the cost?

I look at all the above factors when I do the reviews. I might not mention each factor in the review, but I do consider them to get an overall rating. I have posted some reviews from the past here, and will add more as time permits.

Short eBay Book Reviews

These are simple one paragraph reviews of eBay books and resources. In the future I will post more lengthy reviews for some of these.

New articles about Antiques, Collectibles, or eBay are regularly added to this section of the site. You can see previous articles in the column on the left. This is not a replacement for my regular emailed newsletter. The newsletter is usually two to three times as long and focuses on making money on eBay and/or achieving success in the antiques and collectibles business. Only about a third of the articles sent out as newsletters are posted on the site, so to avoid missing an issue sign up now using the blue box in the upper right hand corner of this web page.
