How To Relist My Item When An eBay Buyer Does Not Pay?

Julia writes, “I sold something on eBay and the buyer didn’t pay me. Now I need to relist the item. Is there a proper way to do this?

I assume the question is about minimizing eBay fees. You can do a non paying bidder notice through eBay to get a credit for the final value fees.

Then relist the item using the relist item link on the completed auction so eBay will waive the insertion fee for the new listing.

If you’re not an eBay Store User, and you do less than 50 listings a month, you aren’t charged listing fees for auctions so it doesn’t matter how you relist the item.


PS you can try to collect from a non paying bidder, but that can be a waste of time.
