Inserting Photos Into eBay Auctions.
Terry:
For many years I have inserted my photos at the beginning of my
description using html.
img src=http://domain.removed
As of today, I can not get eBay to display my photos. Have
they changed something I am missing? I have verfied these
photos are uploaded at the address & are OK. I am stumped. I
have spent 10+ hours the last two days shooting photos &
ATTEMPTING to do listings.
Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

Mike,
I get this question every now and then.
Two things to do - one there should be quotes around the url for
strict HTML compliance. That’s not your problem, but should be
done anyway.
I assume you are listing auctions one at a time on the eBay site.
The reason the images aren’t coming in is either you’re not
editing in the right tab, or you haven’t selected the right photo
hosting option.
Insert your description with photos in the html tab. EBay calls
this “use your own HTML” rather than the standard template.
Also, make sure you have selected your own or self hosted images
on page three of the Sell your Item by checking the box next to
“The description already includes a picture URL for my item.”
What’s probably happened is eBay has reset the defaults on your
account to eBay image hosting, and the system is stripping the
codes away.
Let me know if this works for you.
