Using your eBay Me Page To Make Additional Money From Your eBay Auctions.

When you sell on eBay, you think about listings. You should be thinking about viewers. Selling on eBay is more than running auctions.

Every time you sell on eBay, you get exposure. You can make money from these lookers.

In Jim Cockrum's book The Silent Sales Machine on eBay you learned how to send auction viewers into your eBay me page so you can profit from everyone who visits your auction.

I am not going to tell you everything Jim teaches in his book, but will show you enough to set this program up. This method works very well because rather than selling something, you are giving away a FREE bonus from your eBay me page just for looking at your auctions. People will take the free book and then some of them will buy the recommended books in the back of it. You will get paid every time someone buys a recommended resource. This is easier than selling on eBay.

You don't need to know Html or anything special to do this. This page explains how to set up a custom eBay About Me page, and generate a stream of passive income.

The best part is once you set this up you don't have to do anything but cash the checks. The system will run itself. It doesn't even cost you anything to set up. Whenever you sell on eBay, people will see the free book, go to your eBay About Me page and download it.

You will give away The eBay Buyer's Guide. The guide contains valuable information about finding items on eBay and avoiding scams. If you haven't already read The eBay Buyer's Guide, you can get one here:

Read through The eBay Buyer's Guide, and you will see how valuable it is. Your auction viewers will be glad to get a copy of the book. And more importantly, you will get paid when your readers click on the links within the guide.

In the week ending August 1st, 2004, one affiliate made $456.88 by giving away the buyer's guide. The average buyer's guide distributor makes under a hundred dollars a week. Your results will depend on the number of auctions you run and the type of items you sell.

This is simple and will only take a few minutes to set up. It's like free money. You might want to print this page so you can follow along.

First you need to sign up with Clickbank if you haven't already. It's free to sign up as an affiliate at Clickbank.

Use this link to sign up for Clickbank.

After you sign up with Clickbank you need to put your affiliate links into The eBay Buyer's Guide. This is simple and costs nothing. Just fill in the form on the page below and the site will put together a special book with your links. You can even put links to your eBay auctions and website in the book if you want.

Create Personalized eBay Buyer's Guide

After you have created your personalized buyer's guide, move the PDF onto your web space with a FTP program. You do this just like you transfer your auction pictures to the web. If you don't know how to do this it is explained in the Auction-Revolution.

The next step is to add a link to your auction template to send people to your custom eBay about me page. It can look like this:

Get a free copy of "The eBay Buyer's Guide" as my way of thanking you for checking out my auctions. Learn 27 ways to avoid being ripped off and 13 ways to find hidden items on eBay. See my eBay me page for more information.

IMPORTANT Note: eBay does not allow linking to outside sites from auctions. You have to send them to your eBay me page. Here is the link for sending people to your custom eBay me page. Replace search4me with your eBay name. Search4me is an eBay account I don't use. You can copy this and paste it right into your auction templates.

Next you need to customize your eBay me page with the download links. This is done with simple HTML codes you use to set up your page however you like. You can make your page cute and funny or simple and to the point. Your eBay me page should reflect your personality.

Don't worry if you are unfamiliar with HTML codes. eBay provides a simple template so you can just copy and paste to make your page. The HTML codes you need for your custom eBay About me page are below.

You can see how my eBay About Me Page looks on the search4me me page. (Use the link above) You can just click on the create your own About Me page at the bottom of my page to create your eBay me page. Just follow the steps on the eBay forms to create your eBay me page. Note- There is an intermittent problem on eBay that causes the preview page to display links as text. If this happens save the page and then view the final result.

You can use the same text I did or make changes so it suits your personality. To construct the download link use the text in the box below. Replace the http://www.yourdomain.com/ebaybuyersguide.pdf with the address you saved the book to.

Check all your links to make sure they work correctly, and you are done. Every time you list new auctions to sell on eBay, be sure to include the link to your Me page with the free book. This way, while you are selling on eBay, you are making extra money.
